PennWest internships help students and regional organizations

Realizing an inevitably aging salesforce, Washington, Pa.-based Ensinger forged an educational bond with PennWest University’s internship program with hopes to one day recruit local graduates. The company has been priming PennWest students since 2019, and some of them have become full-time employees of the engineering plastics manufacturer.
“We love working with those organizations who are strategic and forward thinking,” Meaghan Clister, director of internships and experiential learning for PennWest, said. “We partner to make sure they are getting what they need and the students are getting what they need too.”
