About the Meeting
This year’s CCEDC Annual Meeting will take place at The Haskell House, located in downtown Clarion, PA! The CCEDC invites all EDC members, as well as local, regional, and state partners, to join us as we discuss highlights from this year and what is next in 2024. A catered lunch will be provided to all attendees.
Keynote Speaker
Ron Mattocks, VP of Client Strategy
Bull Moose Marketing
Ron Mattocks, VP of Client Strategy with Bull Moose Marketing, will be the Keystone Speaker at the 2023 CCEDC Annual Meeting. Ron will be providing an overview of the CCEDC’s Destination Marketing Plan, which is the driver of the CCEDC’s new tourism promotion and development activities.
About The Speaker
Ron was born and raised in rural northwestern, Pennsylvania. Following high school, he joined the Army where he rose to the rank of Captain, before beginning a career as an executive with a national home builder in Texas and Chicago where he held positions at the VP level overseeing Operations, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing. Recognizing the growing potential of the Internet, Ron switched his focus to digital marketing, consulting for companies such as GMC, ConAgra, Mattel, and others. During this time, he published a book, while writing regularly for sites such as the Huffington Post, Yahoo Business, B2 Community, and the TODAY Show. Recognizing the need for marketing strategies in rural manufacturing communities, Ron returned to his hometown in May of 2017 to co-found Bull Moose Progressive Marketing where he oversees client strategy development. He graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas with a degree in English Literature. He is active in the community serving on the board of the Crawford County Land Commission and as board VP at the Crawford County Historical Society.
